The event that prompted the administration of an existing company ...
In 2004, an important event, the company had decided to go out of business. The extreme trust placed in the company that had trained us professionally after years of school convinced us to get involved with our ideas, skills and good will.
In 2011 we received an award from the European community Sme Week 2011 which gratified us for the efforts made in recent years.
History....
Dario Rossi and Piero Tosches started as employees of Nuova Olpa, a company that had been producing small and medium series of mechanical equipment since 1975.
In 2004, it was decided to close it. Convinced that Nuova Olpa had a future, Dario and Piero decided to acquire it and manage it themselves, thus passing from the role of employees to that of entrepreneurs.
They went ahead by investing heavily in the company, acquiring new technologies and machinery to support innovation and make production faster and more flexible.
The company was therefore able to expand its range of products to meet demand and in 2007 concluded an agreement with the local department of the National Nuclear Research Institute, with which the production of prototypes for CERN, the Organization European Union for Nuclear Research in Geneva. Although the 2009 economic crisis hit the company hard, almost halving demand, Nuova Olpa managed to survive. The current prospects are brighter and the two entrepreneurs are looking to head towards new markets and increase exports.
2021 our history changes again, with the expansion of the company, with another operating unit of 120 meters adjacent to the current one, with the aim of increasing productivity and providing a better service to our customers.
